USDT is the most popular "crypto dollar". If you get payouts on WinWinUSDT, you receive exactly USDT. Let's figure out what it is, where it comes from, and why it's convenient.
What a stablecoin is
A stablecoin is a cryptocurrency whose value is pegged to a real asset, most often the US dollar. One USDT should always cost roughly one dollar. Not "about like Bitcoin", but literally one to one.
This is achieved simply: Tether, the company issuing USDT, holds reserves on accounts (dollars, US Treasury bonds, equivalents) equal to the number of issued tokens. For every USDT in circulation — about $1 in reserve.
USDT is like casino chips: the denomination is fixed, but playing with them in the crypto world is more convenient than with real dollars.
Why stablecoins are needed at all
Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum are very volatile. In a day the rate can change 10–20%. This is inconvenient for those who:
- Want to keep money in crypto but not risk the rate
- Receive payouts in crypto and want predictability
- Trade between exchanges and want to "park" in a stable asset
- Live in a country with unstable currency and want to save in dollars
USDT solves all these tasks. 1000 USDT today is 1000 USDT in a month too, regardless of what happens with Bitcoin.
One coin — many networks
An important point: USDT exists on several blockchains simultaneously. It's the same dollar, but "wrapped" in different networks:
| Network | Standard | Fee | Where used |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tron | TRC-20 | ~$0.5 | Exchanges, P2P, large transfers |
| Ethereum | ERC-20 | ~$5–$30 | DeFi, large exchanges |
| BNB Chain | BEP-20 | ~$0.1 | WinWinUSDT, BSC projects |
| Solana | SPL | ~$0.001 | Fast payments, new DeFi |
This is critical: if you have USDT on Tron network and try to send it to a wallet that accepts only BEP-20 — the money may be lost forever. Always check which network is being used.
Why WinWinUSDT works specifically with BEP-20
We chose the BNB Chain (BEP-20) network for three reasons:
- Low fee — around $0.10–$0.30 per transaction. Comfortable even for payouts of 5–10 USDT
- Speed — transaction is confirmed in 3–5 seconds
- Compatibility — all modern wallets (MetaMask, Trust, OKX, etc.) support BEP-20
How to verify USDT authenticity
Unfortunately, there are many counterfeit tokens in the crypto world. People create fake USDT, give them similar logos, and sell to unsuspecting users. How to verify real USDT:
- BEP-20 USDT contract address:
0x55d398326f99059fF775485246999027B3197955 - ERC-20 USDT contract address:
0xdAC17F958D2ee523a2206206994597C13D831ec7 - In MetaMask the token must be added manually by specifying the exact contract address. Never trust tokens that "appeared" in your wallet by themselves
Rule: if a token arrived "by itself", without your action — don't touch it. Most likely it's a scam attempt to make you interact with a malicious contract.
USDT in everyday life
USDT is actively used for:
- Transfers between countries (faster and cheaper than SWIFT)
- Paying for services abroad (in countries where certain cards don't work)
- Keeping savings in dollars without opening a currency account
- P2P exchanges — buying USDT from individuals in any city
Our project uses this advantage too: users from Greece, Russia, Europe and other countries receive payouts in USDT regardless of banking restrictions.
Summary
- USDT = crypto dollar, pegged to $1
- Exists on different networks: important not to confuse BEP-20 with TRC-20 and ERC-20
- We work with BEP-20 — cheap, fast, convenient
- Fake USDT exists: always check the contract address
